Our main programme of events will go ahead with
"face to face" meetings in the Town Hall after the summer break
but Covid-19 "Space", "Mask" and "Hands" precautions will apply.
Events may be subject to change at short notice.
Most Meetings will now be in the Council Chamber. The stair lift has been replaced by a new "proper" lift located in the rear stairwell for use by those who may have difficulty using the front staircase.
"Members" will automatically receive a separate invitation to Zoom "EVENTS" together with a 'Link' & 'Passcode' "if" they have already provided their email address to the Society. "Non-Members" can also register their email address for Zoom talks via "email@example.com" in order to receive an invitation.

Please send your email address, if you have not already done so, to firstname.lastname@example.org to receive these. Past Newsletters can also be viewed on the website under "Romsey's History" on the menu, for you to print out.
If requested a paper version of Newsletters can be sent.

Some Zoom Meetings will continue during the rest of 2021 and possibly longer, subject to Covid restrictions.
We now have access to our book storage facility again so book sales are now available once again - please click on
"Buy Our Books" to have a browse and maybe place an order.
Romsey Festival 2021
During the Festival Romsey Local History Society has prepared an exhibition on the history of 'Shops and Shopkeepers' in and around Romsey Market Place. There are 35 posters which will be displayed in shop windows or inside shops. Please look and find as many as you can.
If you wish, you can download a
"Short Quiz" (just for fun) which can be answered by using the information on the posters. Quiz sheets and further information can also be obtained from the Visitors Information Centre in Church Street.
